That is the take home message for all scientists. Just producing a running program does *not* make you to a 'software engineer' and 'algorithm developer'. There is science behind developing fast, correct, and re-usable programs. The programming itself is like being able to read/write, or holding a pipette and a flask. That is the basics. The question is rather where to go from there. As he says: “I used to program ten different languages very well.”. That is the take home message for all scientists.
