That’s not a good example Kaká …
Misc May 23rd, 2008AC Milan’s player is going to have arthroscopic knee surgery. That’s really strange, because he is a member of the Reborn in Christ Church (Renascer in Portuguese), and usually they perform “cure sessions” on TV to whoever send them money. C’mon Kaká you don’t need those bloody doctors to cure you, just ask around.

I really like your blog, but sarcastic comments about someone’s religion don’t make me want to read your blog. Even though I don’t necessarily agree with his religion or actions related to it, in my opinion, these kinds of comments ought to remain unsaid. The world has enough cynism and negativity already.

Hi Steve
Thanks for the comment and for reading the blog. Regarding the entry, sorry if I offended you in any way. I usually do not attack religions, at least not publicly, but in the case mentioned, his “religion” or “church of devotion” is managed by crooks that have judicial problems in Brazil and in the US. This “religion” was formed less than 10 years ago and survives based on scamming money from its followers, using TV as a mass-media show to attract naive and desperate people.
There is a Brazilian journalist that says he only trusts religions that are older than his whiskey. I tend to follow the same rule, even though I don’t drink whiskey.
Cheers
