Shame

Image via WikipediaAfter more than 100 years without selling anything on their jerseys, Athletic Club Bilbao decided to start printing a sponsor’s logo. As Basque and Athletic’s fan it breaks my heart to see this happening. Never played a match on second division, team with most wins in the Spanish Cup, selling its shirt to an oil company. Now we get as low as the like of Real Madrid, Manchester United, Chelsea and Milan, just to name a few. Now we are one among the rest, not one of the few.

Sad, sad day.
